they give you the outside angle at H, but you know both of those two angle also add to 180

180= 131 +∠h

I'm noting that we're solving for the minor angle H of the triangle, the inside angle

49° = ∠h

we also , know that H and J are equal, b/c it's got the red marks , telling us the angles are the same.

use that same strategy to solve,

180 = 2*49 + p

180-98 = p

82 = p

Do you see where I get the equation from? ( 180 = 2*49 + p ) ?
