y-y1= m(x-x1)

Whilst m is slope
x1 and y1 (x1, y,1)

So in this case lets find the slope first.
Slope is calculated by y2-y1/ x2-x1
Can be any point.

7-(-1) / 1-(-3)
Which is
2

Slope is 2

So plug it in.

y-(-1)= 2(x-(-3)

Solve
y+1= 2x+6
isolate y

Y=2x+5
Your equation is y=2x+5
