Generalized Cell Cluster
These cells are from a smear of a single organism that is made up of many cells. The cells are clustered together but the outlines of each show that the cells are amorphous, some circular, some oval shaped, and others in different circular shapes. The cells overlap and are not in a clear pattern because they do not have cell walls. A dark circle inside each cell is the nucleus. A better or clearer image would show other membrane-bound organelles, including mitochondria and vacuoles.
