x = 6

Explanation:

Vertical angles in a geometry are equal. Hence m<A = m<B

Given that

m<A = 3x - 9

m<B - x+3

Then 3x - 9 = x+3

3x - x = 3 + 9

2x = 12

Divide both sides by 2

2x/12 = 12/2

x = 6

Hence the value of x is 6
