Explanation

x^3+(5x+y)2

-1^3=-1

-1 x -1 x -1 = -1

(5x+y)2

(5(-1)+(4)2

(-5+(4))2

(-1)2 = -2

Bring -1 down from -1^3

-1-2=-3

You answer is -3
