According Pythogras Theorem,

Hypotenuse^2= Perpendicular^2 + Base^2

H^2 = 6 ^2 + 5 ^2

H ^2= 36 + 25

H ^2= 61

H= 7.81

Answer:

\\c = √(61)

Explanation:

The pythagorean theorem is
a^(2) + b^(2) = c^(2)

So if we plug in the other lengths it will be
5^(2) + 6^(2) = c^(2)

Now we have to find the value of
c

25 + 36 = c^(2)

√(61) = \sqrt{c^(2)}

\\c = √(61)

Answer:

13

Explanation:

Use the distance formula;
\sqrt{(x_(2) - x_(1))^(2) + {(y_(2) - y_(1))^(2)

So if we plug in the other lengths it will be
\sqrt{(8 - 3)^(2) + (7 - (-5))^(2)

Then we simplify and get
13
