Area of the composite shape = area of the rectangle + area of the parallelogram

= Length*Width + base*height

Where,

Length = 20.9 m

Width = 14.3 m

base = 20.9 m

height = 22.7 - 14.3 = 8.4 m

Area = 20.9*14.3 + 20.9*8.4

Area = 298.87 + 175.56

= 474.43 m²
