The answer would be 6 1/12. You would first need it multiply 1/3 by 4 to get 4/12. Then multiply the 3/4 in the 5 3/4 by 3 you would get 5 9/12. The equation would be 4/12 + 5 9/12. Then the answer would be 6 1/12.
