The pythagorean theorem is a^2 + b^2=c^2
A=1.7
B=7.2 (a and b are interchangeable due to commutative prop.)

1.7^2=2.89
7.2^2=51.84

2.89+51.84=54.73

Now to find c square root the answer we just found. The square root of 54.73 is 7.39797269…

Round it to the nearest tenth to get 7.4
C=7.4
