head start of 25 yards since she runs more slowly. Once the students start running, Miranda
will quickly catch up to Rose. How far will Miranda have to run?

R= 25yards+ 4y; M=9y

R-Y, or 25yards+4y-9y

So Miranda gains 5 yards per second
