in one year, it grows 8 percent

the next year, that previous year grows 8 percent
324,000 * 1.08 = 349,920
300,000 * 1.08 * 1.08 =349,920
300,000 * 1.08^2 = 349,920
in 2 years it grows to that
just do it to the 14th power now
300,000 * 1.08^14 = 881,158
