A bookstore had 81 copies of a magazine, Yesterday the bookstore sold 7/9 of these copies. How many copies were sold yesterday?​

I believe 63 copies were sold (like the person above said)

How I would have done it is found out what 1/9 was, by dividing 81 by 9 which is 9, then multiply 9 and 7 to get the amount of books sold which is 63
