Sample 1: 26, 25, 27, 19, 24, 26

Sample 2: 24, 23, 24, 26, 25, 25

Calculating the means:

Sum each length from each sample and divide it by the number of worms.

Sample 1: 26 + 25 + 27 + 19 + 24 + 26 = 147/6 = 24.5

Sample 2: 24 + 23 + 24 + 26 + 25 + 25 = 24.5

They each have the same sample mean.

Ranges: Take the largest length and subtract the smallest.

Sample 1: 27 - 19 = 8

Sample 2: 26 - 23 = 3

Sample 1 has a greater range.
