QUESTION 2A: According to the document, why is Benjamin Franklin opposed to the Stamp Act?

"I never heard any objection to the right of laying duties to regulate imports and exports; but a right to lay internal taxes was never supposed to be a Parliament, as we (colonies) are not represented there."

Franklin initially supported the Stamp Act, because the materials it affected would be stamped upon payment of the tax, but later reconsidered it when he found out the colonists anger.
