80 millimeters

1. Convert 400 mL to L = 400/1000 = 0.4
2. Plug into the MV = MV equation
3. (0.4)(0.1)=(0.5)(v)
4. Divide 0.04 by 0.5 = 0.08
5. Convert back to mL, multiply by a thousand 0.08 * 1000 = 80 mL
