In recent years, there have been fierce debates about whether statues and monuments honoring the Confederacy should be removed all over the South. What are arguments both sides would use to support their side? Finally, tell me what you think - should confederate statues and monuments be removed or stay standing?

Answer: they should remain standing. While we might not like or agree with who they were or what they did, they still are apart of our nations history and we should take the good and evaluate the bad. We cannot place modern morals on past persons as what they did waste during those times and for that periods mentality. History is not there to be changed but to learn from.

Explanation: those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it
