Answer:

s = 3

Explanation:

We model the proportion with the equation:

s =(k)/(t)

We have s and t, but we need to find the k (i.e., the constant of proportionality) by plugging in the s and t we already have:

0.9=(k)/(2)\\ 1.8=k\\s=(1.8)/(t)

To find s when t = 0.6, we simply plug in 0.6 for t in last equation we found with k:

s=(1.8)/(0.6)\\ s=3
