in this case we can use (3, 2) as (x1, y1) and (0, 0) as (x2, y2)

Rise-over-run format is:
(y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

so substitute our number in and you get:
(2-0)/(3-0)

solve to get:
(2)/(3)

this is your slope
