Answer:

y = 14

Explanation:

y = k
√(x) Solve for k

7 = k
√(9)

7 = k3 Divide both sides by 3 to solve for k

(7)/(3) = k

y = kx

y =
\sqr(7)/(3) }
√(36)

y =
(7)/(3)(6)

y = 14

(7)/(3)
((6)/(1)) is the same thing as
(7)/(1)
((2)/(1)) I cross canceled the 3 and the 6

(14)/(1) = 14
