Answer: the rectangle is 23 x 41

Explanation:

x = length

2x - 5 = width

A = length x width = (x)(2x-5) = 943

2
x^(2) - 5x - 943 = 0

use quadratic equation to solve for x:

a = 2, b = -5, c = -943

roots are 23, -20.5

x = 23 (length)

2x - 5 = 2(23) - 5 = 46 - 5 = 41 (width)
