you’ll need to pay a tip of 9.75

15% is the same as 0.15 so if you multiply that by 65 you get 9.75.

Answer: You would leave $9.75 for the tip.

Explanation:

15% of 65 is 9.75, so when you add 15% to 65 you get 74.75. In total you would be paying $74.75 but you would leave a $9.75 tip for the server.
