Answer:

16.5+9.8=26.3

Explanation:

The equation is 16.449+9.84. We need to add these together after we round them to the nearest tenth. Well with decimals it goes ones, tenths, hundreths. So The second number past the decimal on the right side, is the one that we are rounding. If the number is greater than 5 then we move the number to the next tenth value.If its less than f5 we do the complete opposite.

16.449 is going to be rounded to be 16.5.

9.84 is going to be rounded to be 9.8

Now that our numbers are rounded we can add them.

16.5+9.8=26.3
