Sam earns ₹9000 and his friend Lisa earns ₹6000 per month. Find the ratio of

a. Sam’s earning to their total earning

b. Lisa’s earning to Sam’s earning

Explanation:

Sam's Income = ₹9000

Lisa's Income = ₹6000

Total earning = Sam's Income + Lisa's Income = ₹15000

Now,

Ratio of Sam's Income to the Total earning = ₹9000/₹15000 = 3:5

Ratio of Lisa's Income to Sam's earning = ₹6000/₹9000 = 2:3
