Answer: x= -32

Explanation:

6+x/2=1/4(x-4)-1

6 +x/2 = 1/4x -1 -1 distribute

6+ x/2 = 1/4x -2 combine like terms

(6+x/2) = (1/4x -2) Find GCF for denominator

4(6+x/2) = 4(1/4x -2) GCF is 4 so multiply by 4 on both sides

24 +x = x-8 add 8 on both sides

32+x=x subtract x

32=-x divide by -1 on both sides

-32= x
