B- y intercept


1. find slope by choosing 2 point(any 2)

Once you’ve picked 2 point- (X1, y1) (x2, y2) set up the equation to calculate slope


y2-y1 / x2-x1 = m

2. Solve for b

Take any point and plug in the x and y value


Plug in y= (the slope you solved for)(x intercept) + b


3. then write the equation

Y= (slope)x + b
