Answer:

height is less than 4 cm

Explanation:

We know,

Area of a triangle =
(1)/(2) × b × h

Where,

  • base is denoted by b
  • height is denoted by h

We know A is less than 12 and base is 6cm

(1)/(2) × 6 × h < 12

(1)/(2) × 6h < 12

(6h)/(2) < 12

\cancel{(6h)/(2)} < 12

➨ 3h < 12

➨ h < 4

Height is to be less than 4 cm.
