Where are the mountains of South America located? What is the reason for those mountains?

Answer: Most mountains in South Africa are near the Coast. The reason for those mountains is for farming.

Explanation: I learned in AP World History that most of the people in South Africa plant crops on the mountain, so that is why I believe it is for farming.
