Answer: x=-6

Explanation:

Given

2x + 8 = -4

Subtract 8 on both sides

2x + 8 - 8 = -4 - 8

2x = -12

Divide 2 on both sides

2x / 2 = -12 / 2

x = -6

NOTE: I assume the questions "solve for c" actually means "solve for x"
