d = 3 + c eqn 1

b = c - 9 eqn 2

c + d + b = 96 eqn 3

substitute for b and d in equation 3

3 + c + c - 9 + c = 96

3c - 6 = 96

3c = 102

c = 34

Substitute for d in eqn 1

d = 3 + 34 = 37

34 - 9 = 25
