C: Dorothy known as a pioneer in her work at NASC.

This statement is a main idea of the "Dorothy Vaughan Biography".

Step-by-step explanation:

Dorothy Vaughan was a great mathematician and she worked as a teacher before she joined NASA. She was NASA’s first African-American manager.

She performed complex data analyzing for the aerospace engineers. The data that they provided became very critical for the space programs of U.S. All the African American women who used to work here were referred to as “human computers”. Initially, blacks were treated every differently in NASA (then NACA). They even had separate bathrooms and food facilities to use. But Vaughan became the first black female supervisor. Thus, she was considered pioneer at her work.
