Answer: y=-3

Step-by-step explanation: In order to figure out what y would be in this problem, you would subtitute -1 in for x . and ask your self " What is 2* a -1? , The answer to that question would be -2 , ok. then the next step is to take the -2 and subtract by y which in case is 1 or -1 which will get you the answer of y=-3.
