DE = AB , that is

3x + 6 = 9 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

3x = 3 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = 1

and

∠ C = ∠ F

10x + y = 56 ( substitute x = 1 )

10(1) + y = 56

10 + y = 56 ( subtract 10 from both sides )

y = 46
