a session is 3/4 of an hour, which is 45 mins. Allison needs to practice 12 hours a week, 720 minutes. If we divide 720 by 45, we get 16, which is the number of session Allison needs to do in order to reach her goal.
Since she already practiced 3 hours, we can find out how many sessions she already completed by dividing 180 by 45. The answer is 4. Now all we need to do is subtract 4 from 16 to find out how many sessions she has left. 16-4 is 12, so we have our answer.
