socks. If 18 players are wearing white socks, how many students
are at soccer practice? Suppose you solved this problem and your
answer was "12 students." Is your answer reasonable? Explain.

Answer:

no it's unreasonable because if two thirds of the players are wearing white there are more than 18 players.

Since two parts equals 18 and half of 18 is 9 you could solve this by 9×3 which gets you 27 players
