Why does the moon turn red during a lunar eclipse?.

Answer:

The moon is turning red because being that the moon doesn't have any light of it's own, the Earth moves between the Sun and the moon, disrupting the light supply for the Moon.

During a new eclipse the moon turns red because the only sunlight reaches the moon and passes through earth atmosphere.the more dust or clouds in earth atmosphere during eclipse,the redder the moon gets
