so the new equation will be:


(3)/(4) / (6)/(1)

we know that in division of fractions, we flip the divisor in the equation so that it becomes:


(3)/(4) * (1)/(6)

now we can cross multiply and cancel stuff off so it will become:


(1)/(4) * (1)/(2)

and now we can multiply denominator and numerator since nothing else can be canceled off:


= (1)/(8)

and 1/8 as a decimal is 0.125

hence the fraction multiplication in the question was incorrect
