Above triangle is an equilateral triangle.

  • All the sides and anglesof thia triangle are equal.
  • This is all given by the dashes on the sides of the triangles.

This means that

y + 3 = 2y - 5

Lets us solve for y.

y - 2y = - 5 - 3 \\ - y = - 8 \\ ( - y)/( - 1) = ( - 8)/( - 1) \\ y = 8

All three angles are equal in an equilateral triangle.

this means that if given that one angle is 10x° then all the other 2 angles are equal to 10x°

10x + 10 x+ 10x = 180 \\

Sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180°

Let us solve for x

30x = 180 \\ (30x)/(30) = (180)/(30) \\ x = 6

x=6°

GOODLUCK
