How can dilations and similarity be modeled in real-world examples?

Answer:

A model could be a similar figure. I could made a porotype of something that would be much cheaper to build, but would be a good example of what something would look like. For example, when I bought my house, the neighborhoods were not built yet, but the builder had miniature houses and streets and community buildings and parks for me to see on a small scare what my neighborhood would look like. This example would be true of a dilation as well.
