Is whether or not one exhibits "christmas sprit" dependant on how much money one makes?

No. Money is not the mere product of joy and spirit. One might argue that money buys gifts, which gives others and yourself joy; however, gifts do not require money. Gifts as simple as a kind remark or handmade craft can often give another more joy than a bought gift. Dirt poor or gold rich, you can still have Christmas spirit.
