You solve for r by isolating the variable on one side and the numbers on the other side.
Because -1/5r is a fraction, you can turn it into a whole number by multiplying it by 5. However, if you multiply one thing by 5, you multiply everything else.

Now you have 60 - r = 10r + 5
Move the -r to the right side of the equal sign by adding r to both sides to “cancel out” the one on the left.
Do the same by moving the +5 to the left by subtracting 5 on both sides.
60-5=10r+r
55 = 11r
Divide both sides by 11 to only get r.
5 = r
Not sure if this is correct, but you can use the concept to double check
