so you multiply 12 by 8 =96

area of large circle=pi×r²

area of large circle =3.14×12²

area of large circle=452.16in²

area of small circle=pi×r²

area of small circle=3.14×8²

area pf small circle=200.96in²

area of shaded circle=452.16in²- 200.96in²

area of shaded circle =251.2in²
