Answer:

Traditional sex roles are negative and here's why:

Step-by-step explanation:

Not only are traditional 'roles' bad in general, they enforce stereotypes for any one group, and build up a system in which it's hard for people to escape. Now, this is not to be confused with traditions like things you do with your family that have been passed down for generations. No, traditional sex roles are about how men and women should be believed to act, think, or behave in the way that is seen as natural, and 'correct'. This toxic way of thinking is the same thing that leads to children getting bullied because kids will listen to the things their parents tell them, and go out into the world thinking others are strange for not fitting into the conformities they themselves have been led to believe. Some 'traditional' sex roles are like, the Men will go to work and provide, or, the Women will be the main caretaker of the children and keep up with house duties. The thing about traditions is that times change. People, cultures, beliefs all evolve to create a better world for everyone. Women who go to work to support their families or themselves, even in fields dominted mostly by men, and Men, who are sometimes single parents and are still good parents regardless of the fact there are not female nurturers in the home. No traditional sex role has ever been built on something positive, and I believe regardless of gender, men and women should be equal in all fields, to serve and achieve any role they choose for themselves.
