Given system
3x - 3 = y
6x - 5y = 12
Solve by substitution
6x - 5(3x - 3) = 12
6x - 15x + 15 = 12
- 9x = 12 - 15
- 9x = - 3
x = - 3 / - 9
x = 1/3
Find y:
y = 3 * 1/3 - 3
y = 1 - 3
y = - 2
