SOLUTION
U = 0ms^-1 (because the body is said to be at rest)
a = 2.5ms^-2
t = 30seconds
S (distance) = ?
From the equations of motion
S = ut + 1/2at^2
S= (0 x 30) + (1/2 x 2.5 x 30^2)
S = 0 + 1125
S= 1125m or 1.1km
