Explanation:

I assume the "-1" function is the inverse function.

and not 1/function.

g(x) = y = (-x + 9)/5

the inverse function is

5y = -x + 9

5y - 9 = -x

-5y + 9 = x

now renaming y to x abd vice versa to Mahe this an official function :

y = g-¹(x) = -5x + 9

(g-¹ × g)(-1) = (-5×-1 + 9)×(--1 + 9)/5 =

= (5 + 9)×(1 + 9)/5 = 14×10/5 = 14×2 =

= 28

h-¹(3) means the x value when h(x) = 3.

so,

h-¹(3) = 2
