We need to find out the perimeter of the given rectangle with dimensions 17ft × 4ft .

Here ,

  • length = 17ft
  • breadth= 4ft

As we know that the perimeter of a rectangle is ,

Perimeter of rectangle :-


\longrightarrow P_(rectangle)=2(l+b)

where the symbols have their usual meaning, now on substituting the respective values, we have;


\sf \longrightarrow P_(rectangle)= 2(17ft+4ft)\\


\sf \longrightarrow P_(rectangle)=2(21ft)\\


\sf \longrightarrow P_(rectangle)= 42ft

And we are done!
