A shape is called symmetrical when it is same on both sides, In other words we can say that when a shape has the same mirror image.

And it is not symmetrical when the mirror image changes.

  • The shape we are given is not symmetrical because when we see its mirror image, The mirrored image is different...~

Solution:

A shape is only called symmetrical when:

  • A mirror line can be drawn on it.

A shape is called non-symmetrical when:

  • A mirror line can't be drawn on it.

This shape has no lines of symmetry because a mirror line cannot be drawn on this shape.
