The ratio of men to women at a college is 7 to 5. how many women students are there if there are 350 men?

The ratio means that for every 7 men there are 5 women. To get the number of women, you divide 350 by 7 which gives you 50. Then you multiply 50 by 5 which gives you 250, the number of women.
