Answers and Explanations:
Certain animals live in certain areas of the world (also known as their habitats) because sometimes certain animals thrive off of certain things in that particular area.
I will use the example of a scarlet macaw. So, for this animal, it needs a specific habitat to live in in order for it to find the necessities that it needs. Scarlet macaws live in the rain-forest on the edges of cliffs. Together they live in colonies and find the food that they need in this area that they live in. Whether it would be because of certain fruits and nuts that are there, or just the climate in general. But if they were to be imported to somewhere like a desert, they would not thrive at all. Deserts do not contain the necessary requirements that a tropical bird such as the scarlet macaw needs in order to survive.
But, this isn't always the case with all animals. Some animals, called invasive species, can thrive in an environment and ecosystem that is not theirs. They can be imported to another area of the world but can survive just fine in their new habitat. But, they disrupt the native wildlife that is already living there.
