If the point is (x1, y1) and the slope is m then the equation is
Y - y1 = m(x - x1)

Answer:

Use y = mx + b form.

Substitute x, y and m.

Solve for b.

Now you have m, and b.

Use the form again, substitute m and b.

That will give you the generalized equation. You can use it to describe every point on the line.
